Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy
Draft — director approval pending
EaseThat Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and exploitation in its operations and business relationships.
We expect suppliers and contractors to comply with applicable employment and labour laws. We do not tolerate forced labour, unlawful child labour, recruitment fees imposed on workers, or withholding identity documents to restrict a person’s freedom.
Our approach is proportionate to our size, activities and supply-chain risks. Supplier reviews should consider the goods or services supplied, countries involved and credible concerns. Manufacturer and distributor statements may inform these reviews but do not guarantee that a supply chain is free from exploitation.
Workers, customers and suppliers can report concerns using our public Contact route, requesting referral to a director. Reports will be handled sensitively, with information restricted where appropriate. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone raising an honestly held concern.
Directors will assess credible concerns and determine appropriate action, considering the safety of affected people. Actions may include requesting information, corrective measures, pausing purchases, obtaining specialist advice or reporting to relevant authorities.
The directors are responsible for implementing and reviewing this policy annually. This policy describes our commitments; it is not an annual statement of completed activity under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
